when ever i try to pull the yarn from the middle i can pull it for a few yards and then pull out this large snag like they tied stuff up in there. so i have to pull every thing apart and restart. i have had to start wrapping it in balls now to avoid tangles and that really does take a lot of time. please help how do i stop the snagging

  1. What's happening is that it is wound tightly enough that when you pull a large section comes out.  If you pull at the tangle from the yarn from the skein and the yarn end you will pull it out.  eventually it won't be so tight and it should stop happening.

  2. I have a ball winder for answering that problem!! Ball winder at some yarn shops for $35 at spinning and weaving shops, and some other places.

Yeah!! I used to have a problem with the simply soft yarns!! Now I just rewind all yarn I purchase without messing with their nasty little quirks.

You might try to get the yarn to come out the other side of the skein. This sometimes helps.

  3. You going to have to    reroll   the whole  mess   into to   a ball.

  4. Ya know I don't even purchase it any more.  Their quality took a nose dive a couple of years ago.  The white is a dirty gray color.  It is disappointing.   I switched to Red Heart Soft Yarn and the new Vanna's Choice is a good  yarn from the Lion Brand company.
