Is anybody an expert in "My Pictures"?

I have downloaded pics from my camera to "My Pictures". The folder shows the four first pics, but when I click on the folder, nothing comes up. It simply says generating preview, and nothing ever comes up. Is there a solution to this?

depends on how many images there are, what format, and file size,

~may want to make sure its not computer glitch, run scandisk error checker, and analyze with defragmenter, then clean up old cache files,

~change view option to list or details instead of thumbnails or viewer,

~use explore to view folder and files , if files are not images or data, could be causing viewer to stall,

~may need to wait while windows pans through images,
