Yes, I am very unhappy (which may not sound like much if you don't know me, but trust me, I'm miserable), especially since it seemed like they were finally recovering from season 4! Yeah, but the fact that we'll be getting Stargate Universe next year makes it a little better.  The show looks interesting.  There's also a good chance we'll get more movies too.

I'm not too upset because I gave up on the show a while back.  It became too unfocused, and there seemed to be a lack of understanding of the implications of the characters' actions.  On the other hand, I'm ticked off that they did it because the audience is too old and they want to create a new show to lure in a younger audience.  As someone who is 40 years old, with tons of disposable income, I find it frustrating that advertisers prefer (apparently) brain dead 21 year old guys who live with their parents to someone like me, and so TV shows are tailored accordingly.

I'm definitely disappointed, since they were finally regaining their footing after killing off Beckett and Weir (seriously, replacing Beckett with Keller, and a clone? Clones are nice and all but that was pathetic) and almost ruining the Carter character (still not fond of Woolsey), but I'm not really surprised.

My sister, however, is so upset that she says she won't watch Stargate Universe at all, ever. And she's a huge Stargate fan. So the producers and the SciFi channel president definitely made most of the fans very angry.
