Is anybody else glad that Boris Said is driving Petty's #45?

I like Kyle and all but thank gosh he's finally out of the drivers seat. Since qualifying was rained out, Said's 'No Fear' team had to go home and Petty offered Boris a ride. I think that's cool 'cause i'm a Said Head and really want to see Richards team succeed!

GO BORIS!

  1. Said is a good guy. I'm glad he is driving a prestigious ride like

Petty's. Sorry 'bout your hairdo.Maybe some straightener?

  2. I think its great that Ford is letting him drive the #45 Dodge, I hope Boris has a great race, I have a lot of Said Head friends they are so happy, It would be great to see somebody actually drive a great race in the #45..I like Kyle but I think his winning days are over..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  3. Kyle would have done better in that #45.Boris says he a road course specialist. Well then prove it with a good finish. He rarely does well and should be out of the race.

  4. Being the HUGE Petty fan that I am I was ecstatic!!! Hope he can get the #45 a great finish...we NEED it. Kudos to FORD for letting him do it! So here's the dilemma I face....#43 and #45 are my favorite teams of course but Marcos Ambrose is my favorite Nationwider. Ambrose and Boris seem to have a feud. Of course I'm going to be pulling for Marcos as well. The dilemma? What if the race comes down to Marcos and Boris? Who do I pull for...keep my loyaties with Petty? Pull for Marcos? Maybe Bobby in the #43 will beat them both and I won't have to worry! Go #43, #45, and #21!!!!! Can you imagine a Petty fan also pulling for the Wood Brothers??? Oh how times have changed!

  5. I love Boris as well Frankie but he needs to settle down and prove something once and for all.  He's notorious for using up equipment and getting overly aggressive costing him track position.  Kyle is actually no slouch on road courses so I hope the move pays off for the team.

Chill out Boris! Its not a Trans am.

  6. Boris is a really good driver.I became a fan several years ago when he run an ARCA race at Talladega. To put him into the 45 car is a good move,as he is a road corse racer and has a chance to win in any car he is in.

  7. Yes. Now, if Boris concentrates on driving the #45 and doesn't try to win the race in the first ten laps, should be interesting.

  8. i think it's both cool and prudent for petty to have offered him the ride. i know kyle was looking forward to running the race, but he knows that someone needs to get that team much closer to the top-35 than he's been doing - especially if petty enterprises is serious about running a two-and-a-half-car team next year, with kyle running a partial season. sad that kyle won't be running at one of the few tracks he's done well at in the past, and i hope boris does better than he usually does against the cup regulars.

even cooler was how doug hervey from ford gave boris the ok to drive in petty's dodge. i believe his quote was "i know you're a racer and I don't want you driving a dodge, but you don't get to do this every week." and boris was ecstatic as well at getting another "bucket list" item checked off. after tomorrow he will have driven for two of his dream owners - the wood brothers (last year) and the king.

  9. Said Heads?  Of course I'm glad to see him in the race, even if it Kyle has to give up his ride for it!

  10. yeah- kyle is

  11. yes, I am happy for him! I am glad the car was available. Rained out

qualifying is so unfair. The rule needs to be changed.

  12. That's sweet!

I love seeing Boris race and I think it would be awesome if he won a race!

  13. Petty is enjoying announcing i think and Boris will like to be in petty's car so they are both happy and will both do well..

  14. I'm happy for ya. Said heads, Rock !!

  15. geeze.  I really like Kyle.  Always have even though he isn't exactly trucking home race trophies.  lol

That being said YES I am glad to see Boris in the car.

  16. Its freakin awesome....   but will yahoo fantasy figure that out or s***w everyone who picked Boris?

  17. Yes, I am happy for Boris. My dad and I just said about an hour before the announcement that someone would give up their ride and i said Kyle. I am glad that he is making Boris (who only races 4 times a year and really wants to race the road courses) happy. Hope the #45 gets a good finish tomorrow.  It would be nice to see Boris win. He had bad luck at Sanoma.
