Im looking for a new moped or scooter with these out of hand gasoline prices for inner city transportation, Im just not into driving my SUV anymore. I see all of these Roketas that are made in China, and way less than other ones. I just don't know anything about them.

  1. Remember that every product will have satisfied customers and not so satisfied customers.  Sometimes the ones with bad experiences are few, but tend to be the loudest.

If you're looking for info on Roketa Scooters and places to buy them check these sites:

  2. Do NOT buy one of these.  Here's the problem.  China has no quality control.  None.  You might get one that will last a bit, but more than likely about 1200 miles or so you'll need a part.  Won't get it.  No dealer support, no nothing and your new bike will be a great anchor to keep dust down on the garage floor.  The taiwanese, not chinese make very good scoots.  Kymco, TGB, SYM are the only ones to even consider, they are good solid bikes with good support here in the US.  Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki are very good in the 400cc plus class.  Stay away from the Honda Metropolitan.  It's not very good-they slapped the name on it.  For the money, Kymco is the best.  I own 3 scoots, and am well connected in the scoot community and know what I'm talking about.  Please do not subject yourself to Chinese.  taiwanese a resounding yes, Kymco at the top of the list, top quality, 2 year warranty, and they support it.  TGB and SYM are the same, and are good bikes too.  But I'd pick a Kymco first.  Happy Scootering!  They're a blast.

  3. Chinese scooters are built in different factories with different grades of quality.

Go read about Roketa scooters at the Scootdawg forum. You will find lots of helpful Chinese scooter owners there.

It won't take you long to figure out which, if any, is for you.
