Is anybody here from hungary!magyar vagyok amerikaba lakok?

My husband's Hungarian...but I've never learned the language, I only speak Romanian and English.  I've been to Hungary lots of times with him and enjoyed it a lot.  He lived in Budapest and worked at the European Youth Centre of the Council of Europe while he lived there.  Now we're in Detroit and there is a sizeable community of Hungarians near us, but most of them came over in the 1950's and earlier, not many came over in the 2000's like my husband.
