  1. I am an Australian and live in NSW - and I can't stand cricket...never have and doubt that I ever will...

You are welcome to play and watch and LOVE it, but I don't like it at all, it is the most boring game ever invented. Chess is more interesting to watch, grass growing should be a sport before this "gentlemen's" game....

I wish I was in the majority - but sadly I am usually on my own when I stand up and walk away from the cricket on the TV....

  2. i live in Australia, Melbourne  (its in victoria) anyways cricket is a really big sport in australia in the summer but i think the biggest winter sport is AFL (footy) lol its its australian football and well i dont think much australians like soccer but it is bigger here than it used to be and well we love all the other sports and i reckon we all will be willing to try new ones LOVE MY SPORT!!

  3. i live in queensland and i think cricket ranks about 2nd or 3rd but it gets really big when football season ends as thats when the cricket starts

  4. Cricket is the worlds most boring game and they should ban it!!!!! It uses too much TV time and adds to the greenhouse effect!

As much as my fellow Australians like to tell you,Cricket is not that popular, not played here by that many people.Like the other great game that not many play,Rugby League.Australians will watch cricket and even attend international matches, but hardly watch club games or Sheffield shield and state V state games.

A game like Football( soccer) would be played one hundred times more than cricket.I am sorry but India is the cricket capital of the world and I for one say"You can have it!"

  5. Cricket is as interesting as watching grass grow.

  6. I've just answered your individual state by state question on top 3 sports (victoria state).

Cricket is huge. Anyways I've put down:

    1. AFL (Australian Football)

    2. Cricket

    3. Tennis.

Good luck mate! We Australian love our sports :-)!

  7. i live in australia and its like the country of sport lol
