Is anybody on here taking amtrak trains on thursday and going to gerogia?is that train a superliner?

Superline is out west of Chicago where the bridges are higher.

Cannot operate the SP on the east coast

It would help to know where you are coming from.  That would help in better answering your answer.  There are three stops for Amtrak in Georgia, one in Savannah and one in Jesup and one in Atlanta.  There are five lines that service Georgia.

1. Auto Train (goes through Georgia, but does not make any stops)

2. Palmeto (Savannah and Jesup)

3. Crescent (Atlanta)

4. Silver Star (Savanah and Jesup)

5. Silver Meteor (Savanah and Jesup)

You can purchase a viewliner roomette on the Silver Star but it is expensive $350.  The Silver Star goes to Georgia on Thursday.  The roomette on the Silver Meteor is sold out.  The Palmetto and the Silver Meteor also goes to Georgia on Thursday.

The Crescent goes to Atlanta on Thursday and it also has a roomette.  The cost is expensive as well $372
