  1. Well I wasn't, but after all the questions on here, I am starting to worry now! lol First I thought nothing of it, but I am reconsidering even taking the kids to school!

  2. Didn't think we were going to get anything but its just started chucking it down, don't seem to have any winds yet tho

  3. We have gale force 9 coming in this evening. It's very calm here at the moment. We had violent storm force 11 a few weeks ago so we already have the T-shirt.Bring it on!

  4. No the weather is sometimes wrong.

  5. No

  6. I worry about gales

  7. yes only because I have just laid a new concrete path lol

  8. I am in Shropshire, UK. If they come they come, there is nothing we can do about it, until they have calmed down.

  9. Tonite is an exsplosive!

  10. I live up in St Andrews in Scotland and the sort of conditions forecast are not unusual for March on our North West Coast. Mark you all the tress grow parallel to the ground and only a few crazy Highland Celts actually live there.

  11. Yeah, i am.

  12. No - weather people have probably got it wrong as usual and we'll have a heatwave.

Don't blame me if we have a hurricane !!

  13. im already in my bunker

  14. yes we are

  15. yes I'm worried I've just tied the wife to a gatepost for her own safety, I will take her some soup out before I seek refuge in the pub.

  16. i hate the wind at the best of times it can do no end of damage last time i lost my green house so i mite lose my new one and if it is really bad in the morning don't take you children to school i would,nt

  17. I'm worried because I remember the devastation caused by the Great Storm of 1987 and I really don't want to see anything like that again.  Still, there's nothing we can do about it except stay indoors and see it out.  Luckily I stocked up on Friday!

  18. I'm in the South East.

We've just had our roof repaired - so I'm worried there might be some damage.  We've one ceiling that leaks when the rain is really torrential due to a dodgy gutter- so I'm not looking foward to that.

I hope it won't be really bad.

  19. Yes because they just put my Sky dish back straight after the last heavy winds we had. I can see it all getting blown out of line again and having no TV for another week while I wait for them to put it right again. :-(

  20. I'm in the South West (Devon) and yeah, it sounds scary but there's nothing anyone can do to stop it, plus I think the Met Office sometimes over egg things so maybe it won't be as bad as they make out.  Its going to be in Cornwall & Devon first, so I'll stay up til midnight and report shall I ?

  21. Not worried but I will check it out tomorrow before I leave the house. May need wellies and raincoat. Forget the brolly, it will be too windy.

  22. i'm in the northeast, nothing coming here, altough is was pouring buckets yesterday.

    nothing to worry about

  23. no. its just normal gales and rain. the weather people are so scared of getting it wrong that they exaggerate.
