Yep  I was saying today after this week is over the season will be over and i have to wait til october to see a hockey game. It is sad.

It's sad every year.  If it wasn't, we wouldn't be emotionally involved and thus we wouldn't be already eager for the next season to begin!

  With a game like tonight's with both goalies making great stops, the goal posts singing as often as they did, and the sheer pace of the game, hockey is such a beautifully exciting game!  Every pass matters, every turnover makes your heart jump, every scoring chance fans the fires of anticipation...

    and I am not even a fan of either team!

  Tonight's is a great game!  It is always sad to see it end but without that end there is no emotional deadline... and that "sudden death" makes every play oh-so-important!

   Get ready for OT...

Sure I always am. When hockey is on...........no one better call or bother me especially if I am watching the Red Wings. If they want to come over and watch the game.......then that would be great , as I feel so alone watching the Red Wings in New Jersey.

My nails are trimmed from all the excitement and the fury. Nail -biting games and hopefully no triple OT. Bring on the octopus!!
