Is anyone a Chicago Blackhawks fan???

Question

Ummm, I'm a HUGE fan, and in my school, there's barely any Hawks fans. Only Cubs, Sox, Bears, Bulls, Wolves, etc. OH PAT FOLEY'S BACK AND TOEWS MIGHT BE CAPTAIN! Anyone else love the Hawks, and hate Detroit?

Oh don't hate on the Wings.  I'm glad there still are die hard Hawks fans out there.  Bill Wirtz did everything in his power to get rid of all of you.  If the only reason you hate Detroit is because they win, then that is stupid.  Hating teams should be about the style they play, or the goons they have.  Detroit is not a team which has a goon or a style which should cause hate.  I'm a huge Detroit fan and am really looking forward to Chicago getting better.  It makes rivalries more entertaining.  Now that Grandpa Wirtz is gone, maybe the Hawks will return to glory, and I'm all for it.

I do have to ask... How frustrating has it been, since the Hawks stopped being good, to see them be able to consistently beat the Wings (except in 06-07) but lose to everyone else.  Seems as though they can always get up to play the best, but don't care when they play everyone else.   It just seems that if they can beat the Wings consistently, they should be finishing with better records.  If I was the coach, I would be very pissed to see my players giving their all against the Wings, then napping the next game against crappy opponents?

I ask this, not as a cocky remark, but seriously.  I know it would p**s me off.

eh the Hawks are ok but the Wolves are way better. (Calder Cup Champs 08!)

As for Pat Foley leaving the Wolves, we know he'll never announce for a championship team again.

The only time I'll step into the UC for a hawks game is to see the guys from the Wolves that went to the NHL.

Can't say I "love" the hawks but I do respect them. I do hate Detroit though.  Go Oilers.

Wait a minute.  I saw this question last year.  I'm not falling for it again (saying that I'll root for the Blackhawks).  There are plenty of Chicago fans on here.  You just need to look at the right time.

Sorry, I live in New York, no Hawks fans I know of! Except a kid you'd be embarrassed to be a fan of your team because he likes every team :(  I know as a matter of fact, though, that there are other Hawks fans (even on this site!)

Sorry I haven't been a Blackhawks fan since 1992... Maybe in a few years when the team gains some depth. In the mean time, go Montreal!

I don't really care about the Blackhawks, the Winterhawks on the other hand in the WHL is my favorite team. Even though they really suck... I'm a Kings fan to.... This sucks.
