I have to do a report at school on a career that I am interested in. And I chose a forensic anthropologist. For our report I need an interview with someone that has my career choice. So if there is a forensic anthropologist out there, I would really appreciate the chance to email you with some of my questions. Thank you!

  1. Murray Marks is absolutely marvelous, but is really busy these days. Other recommended persons are Lee Jantz, the coordinator of the Forensic Anthropology Research Facility aka The Body Farm, Rebecca Wilson, or other at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

  2. The best thing to do is to look up the American Board of Forensic Anthropologists and do some research into those people who are members.  A lot of them are professors and would probably be more than happy to help out if you look up their e-mail address and send them a message.  Our field still revolves around learning and teaching, so you'll find someone from there who will help out.  I would if I could, but I'm not a forensic anthropologist just yet, still a FA grad student.  I'd recommend trying Murray Marks, Jerry Melbye, Dana Austin, Turhon Murad....I've met them at conferences and they're all really nice and helpful, especially Melbye.  Good luck!

  3. Contact your local university or college, it would be better than asking some random off YahooAnswers. Wish I could help more, but I've only taken one forensic class :)
