  1. It's easy being green.

Until you get drunk and want to eat fist fulls of raw meat.

So don't drink...around meat at least.

  2. I read some article awhile ago,and also peta2 articles and realised  what i was actually eating..i stopped eating animals at least 1 year ago,it was pretty easy!

  5. I am a vegetarian, I've  been one for a month know. In order to be one you slowly take meat out of your diet. My mother is one so she helped me out. First I stopped eating pork, and beef, for about two years , Then I stopped eating chicken for about a few months. Then before I knew it I had given up meat . But you need to get in protein in place of the meat. So you can eat beans, tofu. and fryed lettuce is very good. I am only 17 yrs old

  6. Yes i am =) !!!!

  7. since i was 3 easy I'm the only one in my that was veg pretty hard then when i moved out it was easy

  8. i set a date, and when that day came, i completely stopped eating meat. i've never been a big fan of meat, but after researching animal cruelty- i was convinced.

if you're looking to become a vegetarian PETA.org is a good place to check out. they have everything on there [including veggie recipes!]

  9. I'm vegan, and used to be vegetarian for many years. You simply stop eating meat, that is all. The mistake people make when they stop eating meat is, that they look at the empty space on their plate where the met used to be. Slowly but surely you learn however, that vegetables, rice, potatoes, millet, couscous barley, pasta, amaranth etc are not the side dishes, but they ARE the meal. :)

Try tofu, seitan or meat substitutes in the beginning if you miss meat, and get yourself a good cookbook or check out the thousands or amazing recipes you find on-line.

I went vegan a few years ago, but I recommend you start with small steps. Good luck! :)

  10. Hi!

    I'm a veggie head!

I slowly stopped eating meat over about 2 months...

I first stopped eating pork and beef.

Then i stopped eating turkey and chicken.

And then i finally stopped eating all sea food- fish, clams, etc..

It wasn't easy to find food to replace meat at first but you get used to it and it becomes easy... I Love being a vegetarian! I just feel so much more energized and not weighed down after i eat!  Plus its sooo much better for your health. And those poor little animals aren't eaten by me.

Hope this helps! Im 14 btw and ive been veggie for 2 1/2 years

  11. Veg by birth!!!

  12. i'm not

  13. I'm not.

  14. I'm close to it.I stopped buying Meat, and only eat it when I have to, like in a Social Situation, and that's very seldom.I got motivated after reading http://www.naturalnews.com . Go to that Page, and scroll on down to the package of Oscar Mayer salami.Click on it, and go through all the Photos.I had no Idea processed Meat was so totally gross !

  15. Yeah,i'm.

  16. I had been contemplating it and on the fence about whether or not I could hack it without meat for a while, and then I just stopped eating it. After a month or two of subsisting on mostly bread and some fake meats and feeling very icky, I finally started to try some vegetables, and found that I liked them. Who knew? It was very easy after that.

  19. I am trying to be first i eliminated beef and pork and decided to eat only natural and organic then I increase the vegetables and introduce soy and tofu products and recipes slowly into my diet and trying to lessen on eating chicken(free-range) and fish but it takes some time but i eventually do it

  20. I am vegan.

I went cold turkey but I had been vegetarian almost my entire life so I don't think it was as hard for me as it might be for someone who has eaten a lot of meat their entire life.

I read a lot of articles and books on diets, nutrients, vegetarianism, etc. to ensure I was going to make a healthy decision. I suggest you take your time and do the same.

It is best to be well informed when going veg not only for your health but for your sanity (because there are always ignorant people asking you questions you should have the answer to).

  21. I don't eat meat, dairy, eggs, gelatin, honey, ect. I also don't use any other things that were made from an animal such as soaps with animal products in them and leather.
