Is anyone already excited for fantasy hockey?!?

h**l, im already imagining making my picks!

unfortunatly last season was really short lived cause of stupid yahoo, but it was still awesome.. i want to actually maybe come in a better place than last like i assume i did this year since i couldnt touch my lines.

but are we doing a pool for the hockey section again this year? cause if so im stoked. i know it's a little more of an inflated population now.. but Im sure commisioner Mike can solve that problem.

anyone know when yahoo fantasy is scheduled to open this year?

We have yet to decide what the league(s) format will be, but there's still plenty of time to do that. I think it will open up just like last year, sometime around mid-September.

btw, just looking back on the season. I had almost all the good goalies lol. At one point I had 5 bona-fide starting goalies and you all wanted them but I kept them to myself. Like Erica said, I "monopolized" them all, lol.

I came in second this year after dwelling in the bottom half of my league for most of the year. Stupid dummies used their maximum games with over a month left in the season and I sneaked all the way up to second.

Last year I won three of the four leagues I was in but my account was terminated by Yahoo for too many violations on Answers. Woe is me.

Usually  the beginning of September.

If there is an opening, I would love to get in a pool with  others from here. It's getting too easy in Yahoo leagues( 6 leagues, 4 which were Winners leagues... 3-1st, 2-2nd, 1-3rd). I need a bigger challenge.

I murdered the first half of the year then i forgot to change players and dropped down to 5th from first in a week.

I'm looking forward to it. In fact, if some of the newbies play, the league should be very exciting. I know I won't get lucky this year (in the draft, such as getting Mike Richards and managing to get Chris Osgood in a trade), but we'll see.

I did alright in my two hockey pools. 1st and 5th I think (12-man pools) If you guys are doing another pool this year I wouldn't mind joining if you need guys. I plan on sticking around for the summer unlike 90% of the population right now.

As for your question, its usually available about 1 and a half months before the season begins. I already got my picks ready too!
