Is anyone an expert on motorola phone tools?

I'm trying to make ring tones on moto tools its lets me crop and make the ring tone but when i try to transfer the songs to my moto cell phone i get a message that says... unsupported format ( mp3 code may be inappropriate or missing) what do i do i am downloading from lime wire

ur phone might not support mp3!  usually older  phones dont

You need to convert the MP3 format of the song to aac, mid or nrt first, then use phone tools to load it into your phone. There are a couple of free converter programs that you can find online.
