He was a great comedian, but I never met him, so I thought, "Well, that's too bad!" when I heard of his death, but not much more.

Yes! R.I.p bernie mac was a well loved person by millions! He's going to be missed deeply. It was obvious that god needed him early but its just really really sad he's not here anymore. I can speak for everyone I know and say we all loved him just from watching his career grow. He's definitely going to be missed.
