Is anyone being virtually homeschooled in england?

if so, how do you get into it?

im in devon, but anywhere in england should be okay.

  1. I've heard a few people mention ICS for GCSEs and A Levels but asking if they're any good rather than saying they use them. Virtual homeschool isn't as big over here as it is in the US so you'll be lucky to get an answer. A lot of families either start out or drift towards an autonomous approach. I personally don't know anyone who does anything more that using Education City when their kids are in the mood.  


  2. Yes there are lots of children and young people who are taught at home. I am a primary school teacher and remember some Christan children from a local church were all removed from school and taught at the home of one of the people who attended the church. The best way to find information about home schooling is to contact your local education authority - they have a duty of care to all children and will have information about homeschooling - please keep in mind that although there are obviously benefits to home schooling there are major disadvantages especially concerning children's social interaction.
