Is anyone besides me, tired of Geico commercials?

Maybe I just don't get it when they say even a caveman can do it. Seems I just don't link that together in my head. One scene the caveman is at a physchiatrist' office and his mother calls on cell phone, and he says " I'll put it on speaker" I just would like someone to explain this a little. Thank You.

I interpret that scene as:  the caveman's is totally normal like the rest of us living in 2007.

The goal of the commercial is to have you remember it, think about it, talk about it, tell others, etc....

I'd say it's a pretty effective advertising campaign...

It's just a joke. The slogan "So easy a caveman can do it" could be a rather normal slogan. Geico is that easy! Anyone could do it, even a dumb caveman who knows nothing about technology. The joke is the idea that, if caveman were actually walking around in modern-day society, how they would react, especially if they weren't like the stereotype that Geico presents.They'd probably act like any other minority that gets a bad rap from the media or some dumb commercial. Some of them might end up in therapy. Prejudice isn't nice, but apparently it's a funny joke if we perfectly emulate it using an imaginary group of people.

What if the slogan was "So easy a Hungarian can do it" for instance. But then the commercial wouldn't be a joke anymore, and the Hungarians would be angry.

I think the commercials they had before the caveman lot were quite good with the gecko speaking in a British accent. It was  was kinda cute
