  1. Even if you work at a place like McDonalds, you can still get scholarships from them (most places require you to be an employee though).

  2. Pick a college or university and go to their financial aid officer. Also try the NAACP and the United ***** College Fund. This is on the assumption that you are a black African.

I did not insert the ***** between United and Fund. Apparently this is an automatic censorship of what is assumed to be a bad word. Actually it is a nationally recognized, well advertised agency which solicits funds publicly for people in your predicament. I am sure any college financial aid officer can properly fill in the blank

I wish you the best of luck.

  3. u sound very ambitious and i hope u do well...maybe u shld take out a govt loan and pay it off after u graduate...they are usually more lenient than borrwing from the bank

  4. The way students in your situation get by is that they attend low-cost universities and colleges, and they make use of the FAFSA and all federal funding available.  It may be necessary to borrow additionally to attend.  You may also want to check into private scholarships and grants.  Use fastweb.com to search and apply for these sorts of funds.

The reality is that the majority of students who attend must look to using some form of education loans to be able to complete college.  You can minimize that amount by applying for as many grants as you can and by working part-time and not living beyond  your means while you are in school.

    Good luck!
