Is anyone coming to the KY DERBY? or bet on a horse??

well i got to say i lived here for yrs and never been and only live 40 miles away from churchill downs and never gone. but i always place a bet.and have my own derby party at home!!!

I'm betting online but not going to the race.  We're supposed to be going next year (my brother-in-law lives near the track).  And we also always have a Derby party at home.

You have to put "some money" on Big Brown just because you always bet on the fav BUT, I always have money on a few others as well & my "long shot" money will be on Court Vision.

I'll have a tri-box w/ Big Brown, Colonel John & Pyro

I've lived in Louisville all my life and left Derby for the visitors. I like the Oaks myself. It's cheaper, just as much fun, and you don't have to deal with the shear madness of Derby day.

I'm with you Sissy. Get out the grill and make the Mint Juleps at home!

I'm putting some decent cash on Adriano...for some reason I like this horse...hes gonna make me or break me. I think a long shot will win, why not this horse. A safer bet is Big Brown, thats a nice looking horse...but I'll take my chances
