  1. Not really. He needed an older white guy to balance the ticket.

I do agree with vote nader though. Richardson would have been the best VP. I'm hoping that since he was on the short list, he'll get Secy of State or some other good cabinet post.

  2. no....I can see the issues are way more important than who Obama's vp is!

  3. I think it's a great choice.  I just can't wait for Biden, the human gaff machine, to hit the Sunday morning talk shows and jam his foot in his mouth again.  It's absolutely amazing how he get's away with it.  Anyone else would have been relegated to the trash heap of political wash-outs and this big mouth racist gets the VP nod.  Unbelievable but very entertaining nonetheless.

  4. Not at all, I have always admired Senator Biden for his forthright attitude and no nonsense approach.  I think he will be an excellent Vice President.

  5. Best choice he could have made to help McCain.

  6. I really dont care who is running mate is as long as it isnt hilary clinton.

  7. Very Much So.

  8. No, I'm very pleased with the decision.

  9. Republicans.

  10. Not at all.  I like Biden, and I think he was a smart choice.  If he weren't vice president, he'd make a great secretary of state.

  11. I'm not disappointed, because I don't support Obama anyway.  That said, I could have considered voting for a Biden/Obama ticket, but I would never vote for an Obama/Biden ticket.  Obama is unqualified and there are too many unknowns about Obama.  I don't trust him to be CINC.  I know that the Republicans are happy about it, because it's a much weaker ticket than an Obama/Clinton ticket would have been.

  12. not so much.i would have preferred hillary but joe biden is also a good choice.

  13. As someone not interested in Obama as President I must admit I am thrilled with his choice.  This will not gain Obama a single advantage in the electorate and it will confuse those of his supporters who signed on to the campaign in hopes of change.  He had many more effective choices that could have been taken (Chuck Richardson may well have clinched the election for him) but this choice is emblematic of the kinds of confused and messy thinking that is now characterizing the Obama campaign.

  14. Yep, he should have chosen Bill Richardson.

    Biden don't impress me

  15. Doesn't it sounds to much like Osama Binladin to me

  16. Since I support neither, nope.  However, we do have to live here, so it would be nice if either man wins they could have a decent VP.  Maybe McCain's will be better.  Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,ha, ha!

  17. I am not voting for Obama (and may not vote for McCain either), so I have a different perspective.

I think Biden is a pretty solid choice.  I am somewhat relieved, though, that he didn't pick Clinton, as I thought that would be a stronger ticket.

It will be interesting to see what McCain does now.  I wonder if he will get more votes if he put a woman on the ticket?  That might be a good question to ask.

  18. he choose a republican running mate?

  19. No, just suprised. Obama had hinted about this for awhile. Then people asked Biden if he will be picked and he said,"I'm not that guy." It must be hard for him to be VP to someone that he was rude to during the primaries. At least he was the least rude. I would have rather had John Edwards but I 'get' him choosing Biden. Obama doesn't have much experience and Biden does and they share the pro abortion thing too.

  20. Biden needed to be VP cause Obama has no experience and acts like he's in college.

  21. nope, Biden was the best choice for Obama

  22. Obama's choice is a slap in the face for everybody in the military.

He chose somebody who knowingly repeated enemy propaganda in a partisan attempt to embarrass the president.

When is Biden going to apologize to those Marines he slandered?

  23. I won't be acknowledging an Obama/Biden or a McCain whoever presidency. As far as I'm concerned our government is illegitimate.

  24. Nope.  I could care less who is running mate is...although he might have had a better chance at winning with Hilary.

  25. I'm not!  As a Republican, I think it's a great choice!

  26. Yes kinda of.....

  27. Are you kidding? It has actually solidified my faith in an election win.

Obama could not POSSIBLY have picked a better qualified running mate!

Do you know anything about Biden BESIDES anything you've read in the past two days???

  28. Absolutely not. Thoughtful smart and 'presidential' choice.

  29. Well I am happy now.  I thought he might grow a pair and pick Hillary and that would have doomed the Republicans.  As is evidence by the non Biden bump, and by the fact that 32% of democrats are less likely to vote for Obama now, and 32% are more likely to, shows that he didn't help Obama a bit.

  30. If you are a Repub it is a great pick

  31. Yes,  McSame

    and

    conservatives
