Is anyone dissapointed that Favre went to the Jets?

i dont really care..im glad he didnt go the bucs because im a giants fan..

either way the jets still are a very suspect team and they will not go anywhere especially with the all decade team on offense for the patriots...

jets may be a contender now. favre can get coles the deep ball and use cotchery as a possesion reciever. the passing game is much improved with a qb who is accurate and make deep throws. the running game should be beast with the acuisition of alan fanana and tony richardson. an offensive line with mangold, fergison and fanaca will be top in the nfl. thomas jones should rush for 1400 yards. the pass protection should also be improved. i like that rookie tight end too, a great passing target. on defense vernon gholston should team up with colvin pace to give the jets a formidle pass rush. seddrick ellis and kris jenkins will stuff the run. linebacker is a bit of a weakness especially in the middle, they should have never released vilma even if he didnt fit in.they have a very good young secondary, revis, rhodes, and miller should all be good. special teams is also an elite. leon washington is the best kick returner after devin hester. great coaching in mangini, they might give the patriots a tough time. i say 11 or 12 wins.

i think he is a great quarterback but he really needs to retire while he is on top im dissapointed that he wont retire! hes going to get hurt and ruin values of football cards and of his own image!

As a die-hard Patriots fan, yeah, I am disappointed.  But I'm not nervous at all.  The Jets will have a solid 9-7 year, definitely improving on last year, but this will be the end of Favre, this year will be.

The part I'm mostly disappointed about is that if he had gone to the Bucs, I could have rooted against 4 teams, instead of the usual 3: Jets, Colts, and Chargers.

EDIT: LOL JOHNNY.  I think I just pissed my pants.  The JETS stomp the Patriots.  Buddy, I think Section 319 @ Gillette Stadium could stomp the Jets.

The Patriots?  Fakes?  7 years of winning seasons, 6 division titles, 4 conference titles, 3 Super Bowl championships.  Give me a break.

For me, I just don't see him being in the Big Apple New York. If he were to be traded, I thought the Bucs was the best options. Favre did as well but it was reported that the Bucs weren't giving up too much or too enthusiastic about the idea as everyone made it seem.

Not really.  We get a draft pick (It d**n well better be a first rounder) and we all knew that Favre was never gonna play for the Packers.

Although, yes, I would've rather had him play with a good team (The Bucs) so he could have another great season.

i'm glad hes on the jets and not the bucs. it would be nice to see him stomp the saints but stomping the patriots is going to be even better. and final there will be a challenge in the afc east. this year people are going to see what fakes the patriots are. this year jets are east champs.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I'm a packers fan and loved what Favre did for that organization but when he retired I wanted Rodgers as our QB...it's only fair since he was behind Brett for 3 years. Favre wants back 1 month before the season starts..no way..if it was before the draft i think it would've been a different situation entirely but I digress. It's just going to be really weird watching him in a Jets jersey..that's all
