Is anyone doing volunteering in Costa Rica in July 2008???

Question

I want to go to the sea turtle conservation!!

I would like peoples opinions on Costa Rica. Also if anyone has done the sea turtle conservation volunteering please tell me about your experiences!

Is it safe to go there alone?

I lived in wonderful Costa Rica for three months and that was defently not long enough! I volunteered teaching english and it was amazing the people there are very friendly!! I am dying to go back!!

I havent done the sea turtle conservation but I have heard great things about it and the orginization I went with to Costa Rica also had a Sea Turtle Conservation

Hi!

I live in Costa Rica, conservation is a big issue here. Lots of organizations and government work on this thing.  Sea turtles are just one of dozens of protected species here.  Costa Rica is pretty safe for tourists, there are many expeditions that may help you out for what you are looking for.  As a costarican I'll be glad helping you out for more info: [e-mail]
