Is anyone else 'hung up' on canoeing?

It's my favorite outdoor recreation and I have never seen any thing on yahoo answers about canoeing or archery. Am I just a oddball?

No, funny you shoud ask.. We live a few miles where you can rent canoes, and paddle down the "creek".. (rather large one) and I was telling my husband today,, that we have never done that w/ our teens.  ( he said, no we go white water rafting - but I told him that wasn't the same) The discussion grew about how easy a canoe business would be to start.

We canoed and had the best times of our lives before we had our children..  New Braunfels , Tx is a wonderful place to canoe.. they now fine you if you have a cooler larger than a specific size.  

We also canoed in Arkansa down the White Water Buffalo river..... ( i'll have to tell my husband we did take them on a trip........we forgot about that//////we did that around the time we went rafting)   That was sooooo beautiful.. you could see the bottom from the canoe.

I think you are hung up on it because like all of us think: It is sooo relaxing, and quiet, and you can really get to know, and visit your partner.
