Doesn't matter which candidate you support, both the media and the candidates are focusing of petty personal issues and not political policies. And when their is focus on actual politics, is usually is something outside the President's power. (Like energy solutions)

Seriously, If I hear that candidate A isn't ready to be President or Vice-president, as if anyone is READY to be president, I will explode. And I would like for once, both parties to explain exactly what will CHANGE, after January.

And why are we so wrapped up in Palin's daughter? Does it really matter? Am I alone in wanting politics to be more than just an episode of The Hills?

  1. It would be nice if we could actually discuss issues in this country, but all we do is sling mud at one another. You may as well comment on what they are wearing if you can't make a better arguement than "omg her daughter is preagnent hurr" or something similar. Both sides do it, and it's made me lose faith in this country's political system.

  2. Yes.  I agree also that much of the 'policy' talk is about things that the president can't control anyway.  Unfortunately, that is what the people want to hear.
