Is anyone else appalled by this?

When I was browsing the web i stumbled on this

basically it allows u 2 download a load of books.

If this becomes common practice in 10 years then peoples lively hood will be ruined.

I can kinda understand downloading movies and music because they still earn money from cinemas and concerts(I know its still wrong but its slightly more excusable).

But this file contains a 1000+ books.if u consider each book worth 10$ then thats 10000$ downloaded in 2 days.

Is there anyway to stop this?

how can the government allow this p2p when 99% of it is used 4 copyinfringment. Why is the US not taking strong measures.

honestly i am but there is much you can do my father is the chief of poliece in the boston area and showed him a replica hand bag site and there isnt much you can do to stop them you could complain but it really wont do anything sorry if this doesnt help!

This is already commonplace. The most you can do about it, as a consumer/buyer, is to not yield to temptation but instead buy authentic copies. The government is rather confused with its presidential race and its pet wars, so can't really pay attention to things like this.

As an aspiring author...I agree with you, but you should not have put up the website. That is just going to entice avid readers to download these illegal books

I agree that it is appalling, but you posting the link for everyone is just like advertising for them. It probably didn't need to be given to us.

Yes, but sadly people will always download illegally. All people have to do to read books for free is join a library. Is it really that hard?
