Is anyone else from the uk getting annoyed.....?

with americans complaining bout the price of thier gas. they pay around a third of what we are paying yet they wont shut up about the "ridiculous" prices they are paying.

People always complain about changes, particularly ones for the worse. It doesn't matter what people in another country or continent have. Everyone does it. Not just Americans. The reason it's annoying is because they're generally ignorant to how much they have and don't know when to shut up (like in the company of everyone else). Nothing wrong with complaining. But you shut up when you're talking to someone who has it worse off.

i know what you mean, but no - there are far more important things about the americans that annoy me than that.

also, you have to take pity on them - they've got so addicted to low oil prices that now they're suffering from withdrawal symptoms...

To some extent I agree.  But on the other hand, you have excellent public transportaiton as an alternative, which we don't have in most places here in the US.  Or am I wrong about the public transportation in the UK?

Well America is way bigger the the UK so we have to go long distances to get anywhere, not all of us have corner stores or work walking distance away or trains that lead almost everywhere.

Americans annoy me constantly, gas prices aside. But they are nowhere near as annoying as English fks.
