  1. Developed Europe and Asia essentially have the same problems as the United States.  But their taxes and fuel costs are higher.  Plus, Euro-asians are more xenophobic than Americans, they just do not advertize it.

But if you want to leave the United States then just leave.  No one will stop you.

  2. I cannot say that the US is without its problems, but there are plenty of nice, laid back people here, who don't go around stabbing each other.

I wouldn't mind checking out Vancouver, Iceland, Hong Kong, or Vienna.

  3. There is always a sense of euphoria when on holiday, its because you are not in the day to day aspects of living in the area.  The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.  Life is what YOU make of it.

  4. Its the run and hide mentality that gets us nowhere as a country. Its times like this we need to come together as a nation and start making changes. Its time for a revolution!

  5. Quality of life has gone into free fall over the last decade & taxes higher.

So yes since the UK now has the lowest social mobility ever & the highest discrepancy between rich & poor as well, yes I agree with you, I'm sick of this country.

  6. hiya, yeahh i agree with you.ive been wanting to move out of my town for months now.im living in london and have kids.and the amount of c**p that is happening ova here is rediculus.i hate walking the streets and i hardly let my 2 kids out to play, coz you dont know whats gunna happen from one hour to the next!!!!!!! i would move in to the country, loads of land, and peace.

  7. i am french> Taxes are also big problems and price of oil is still higher

  8. Should we switch? I'm sure many Americans want you gone, and a person loving the place in. I'm that guy. You can come to Denmark and I can come to the US. The grass is always greener on the other side - I just don't agree with your projection of US vs. Europe. I've been to the US and I've never met such nice people in my life.

The other day on the Train to work a New Yorker entered the train. Normally everybody just sits there trying to avoid each other, but the Americans - as I also noted while being in America - are much more open to strangers and much more happy - he lightend everybody up.

BTW: never before have I been in a country where 10 complete strangers could start a conversation in an escalator. That's America.

  9. denmark

  10. stop jumping on the bandwagon!

    its not that bad!

  11. Yes, it is getting to be ridiculous. Everything from taxes to gas to immigration. Free country my *ss!!! You can't even say what you feel anymore without being punished in some way for it. I would love to find a secluded place in some little known country and move there and live off the land, no more worries.

  12. Which  country is "OUR" country?

  13. One of my grandads fought in 2 world wars,WWI1 when he was 15!I reckon they'd spin in their graves to see the place overrun by all kinds of riff raff and shot to pieces by the EU.Went to go for a swim today only to find the pool over run by little kids as the teachers are on strike again, didn't bother going in.Then went to the library to pick up a book I ordered last week, place shut because of strike action again closed yesterday as well, plus it was pixxxxx down and yes it seems a dismal place to be at the moment but you could be in a worse place, like Romania,Iraq, the Favellas in Brazil or shanty towns in Soweto, some  big cities in the USA,there are MUCH  WORSE places to live if your poor.It wont last forever all this gloom and doom!!!

  14. it doesn't matter where you stay in this world you have to pay taxes fuel price's going up cost of food to.

  15. Don't run away from the problems you face in your homeland, especially if you are indigenous. Network with people in your community, organise and improve your local community and make things better. Don't complain, make some real and lasting changes for society!

  16. I wouldn't go as far as calling you a sulky git, but I do think the media have hyped everything up so that it seems like the country is falling apart, but they've been saying that off and on for ever.

Goods news doesn't sell papers, so everyday the front page is covered in horrible depressing stories.  You don't hear the good news that is happening.

Ok, I'm simplifying things a tad, but you get my jist.  I don't want to come across like a complete liberal, I mean there are problems that need to be dealt with and I think the Government need a good kick up the backside, but I don't think it's as grim as the media are making out.

So basically I'm not quite ready to contemplate moving just yet.

  17. Good grief, yes.

I'd go live in a cabin out in the wilds in Canada like a shot (if they'd let me in!) Nice people- and not too many of them either, cheap living, great scenery.

  18. I don't consider you to be a "hater" or a racist. Just a patriot and a realist. Same as millions of other decent-minded    people, who, appear to be, sick to their back teeth, of the lawless (no respect for the law - no peace order or safety -  only 'rules and regulations' and 'terms and conditions!') violently-demonic  wasteland, Tony (d**n him) Blair has reduced England to.

  19. Yes, becuase they never strike in France, nor have race riots, nor have a poroblem with fuel duety.

Nothing wrong with our country, you are just unaware of the problems in other countries.

But if you feel that strongly, then see ya!

  20. I heard that Switzerland was the best country to live in.  I agree with you, people have become more self serving and self centered and angry.  They just don't care anymore!  They will bump you in the grocery store and not say excuse me, or cut you off and slam on their brakes and flip you off on top of that.  I think MEAN PEOPLE SUCK (I don't have to say what they suck, you can infer that)

But anyway, I agree 110%!  Food cost a fortune and gas too.  I am in college, so I can't leave until I finish.

  21. If its the UK your talking about then yes i'm fed up with it to, i mobving to the US in a few years to start a new life :)

  22. This country has gone down the crapper, I have been mugged or attempted muged twice within 10 months. By some Gangster wanna be in their crappy gang.

    I am off to europe.

  23. The funny thing is that France is now going conservative.

    See what liberalism does, America?

  24. Japan! and already did 9 years ago! Love it I'm not even sure if the locks on my door work or where the keys are.

  25. Ireland, everybody is so nice

  26. Goodbye.

  27. okay to sweedish person - america sucks! everyone wants things quick always have to be watching your back for the law. their always out to get ya.

if i got on an elevator with a bunch of ppl who barely spoke english i would have a ball too! that sounds like fun.

  28. There is a general feeling of "the world is collapsing around us" yes. But alot of this is caused by the media. There are a h**l of alot of positive things going on but the media just doesnt give it attention.

Try not to pander to them - the rising trend of "apocolyptic thriller" films like day after tomorow etc has caused this dangerous trend of how exciting it would be if everything started to go to sh.t. this mentality is so dangerous. Dont get drawn in.

  29. fuel prices are rising everywhere.  There's crime everywhere in the world too.  I think you're just being a whiner.

  30. Oh I agree the place is full to bursting with all sorts of low life but my Grandads fought for this land Im staying till the bitter end.

  31. I know how you feel! This country has gone 'down the pan' since Blair and Brown took over!Downright criminal!
