2 goals in his first match back.

Maybe if he can keep it up, he will end up playing for the national team.

P.S - there is not doubt he could not do for Chelsea what he can do for City.

  1. I support Chelsea and so I'm never happy to see a player go (apart from Mutu) but if he'd stayed with us much longer he would have faded away like Shevchenko. It was the right move for him and I'm happy that he'll be able to start playing week-in week-out again. Hopefully he can get in the England starting line up soon. Also to all Man. City fans sorry we took him away and didn't really use him and heres hoping you beat the United scum on the 30th November.

  2. When he signed for Chelski 2 yrs ago, he was on the verge of getting a permanent place in the national team (in Beckham's place). But he never got to play at Chelski, bcuz of Cole, Malouda, Kalou, and other wingers and was hence out of favour.

But he has proved that even today he remains a fantastic player by scoring a brace for his club.

  3. His back where he made his name and its good he feels at home and scored two goal on his debut back today, he is a winger also which means harder to even get a goal.

Im an Arsenal fan but still happy for him because i like seeing players getting back their form

  4. i am very happy for him! being a fan of a football team isn't only about supporting that team, but also supporing football. i think it is fantastic to see him doing well so fast on his return to city. shevcenko is another one i wouldnt mind seeing do well after leaving chelsea for his former club, who was alos welcomed with open arms. and finally, i'm wishing saha the best of luck also!

  5. I do.As a Chelsea fan,I do because we don't need him.He is a good player, but we even have better players such as Joe Cole,Deco & hopefully Robinho.

  6. it's good that he is on the scoring sheeting he is alot better than when he was playing for the blues

  7. I wonder who one of those could be Liverbird.  LOL!

Yes, good for him.  Chelsea gave him a raw deal.  It was one of those cases where moving to a successful club strangely was a backward move.

He was already in the England team at city.  Then he went to Chelsea, they pissed him around, his form suffered and he lost his England place.

And yes, I believe he can keep it up, and get back into the England team.

Mr T.  Still sore about Moscow are we?  Only children take things this personal.

Mr T.  You show all the maturity of your fifhteen years.  There's more to life than hate.

  8. im pissed I didnt put him on my fantasy team

  9. Back when he was at man city they were going nowhere and you felt annoyed for him then he was at a big team he wasn't played and he was dropped from the english setup

  10. yeah - I'm always glad to see new players fitting in and doing well (unless it's for a couple of teams that spring to mind), he defo stayed one season too long waiting for his big chance at Chelsea that was never going to come......I'm glad he had the good sense to move on before it was too late..

  11. He derserved to play regular football.

  12. yeah. no point being the white elephant of chelsea.

    good for him.
