i bought my kid her own account just like a few days before the "recruit a friend" email came to me, and i was like , "oh kool, can you guys hook me up with that?" ... since i prepaid all the way thru to october 2008, and there was a clause in the email regarding people who had signed up others prior to August 5th m so i thought i was kool .. just email them; so i did but never got a response
here's part of the email...
If you have questions regarding an account that used the Recruit-A-Friend system prior to August 5th 2008 or questions regarding your Recruit-A-Friend status please contact our Billing and Account Services team directly.
You can email billing@blizzard.com or call toll-free at 1-800-59-BLIZZARD (800-592-5499). Customers in Australia should call 1-800-041-378. Representatives are on hand to take calls Monday through Friday between 8am to 8pm PDT.

anyway i finally contacted a gm when we both were playing, and i dunno if she was just lazy or what, but basically she told me that i was just s.o.l.
so whatever ya know but this kind of thing does not make me real anxious to keep the account past october, but i won't start selling my activision stock just yet
