Specifically when i try to use the middle button on my mouse to scroll or the bar for the same thing on my laptop it doesnt allow me to scroll back up, i can scroll down but not up, its weird and i was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing a similar problem, now dont get me wrong i know this is a beta browser but still that seems pretty basic, any input would be appreciated

  1. I am too...and its real f@#king annoying.  Otherwise I like it.

  2. yea same here..

  3. It works perfectly for me too! I can scroll up and down with both the laptop touchpad and the scroll mouse! Now i'm wondering whether it differs from computer to computer.

one of the commenters has found a possible solution to the scroll issues.. it has to do with updation of the drivers.. do check out the link for more information

  4. It is open source,  so somebody should come up with a mod to fix it.

  5. I thought it was only me :)

It was Intellipoint software causing the issue.. the troubleshooter solution works perfectly

    Thanks!

  6. I have a Microsoft Intellipoint Optical mouse attached to a Thinkpad A31 laptop running XP, and I had the same problem.  The wheel would scroll Chrome pages down but would not scroll back up.

I tried this and it fixed it for me:

Go into the Intellipoint software...right-click the Intellipoint ball in the notification area and click Properties.

    Click on the Wheel tab.

In the Wheel Troubleshooter section, click on the Troubleshooter button.

Find the name of the web page that you're viewing in Chrome in the list of programs you have running, and click on it.

    Click OK.

  7. Yeah, I'm having the exact same problem. In fact, I was just searching around the internet to see if anyone else was experiencing the same problems!

  8. If you're using the Microsoft Intellipoint software for your mouse, disable the Intelllipoint scroll feature in the mouse software and scrolling up will work in Chrome.
