Is anyone else having this problem with Olympus SP-500UZ digital camera?

it seems to be draining the batteries too quickly. We use 4 Energizer 2500mAh rechargeables, the batteries work fine in other things, it's just the camera they die quickly in. I just put 4 charged up ones in last week (properly charged), took about 15 pictures then put it away, today I went to take a picture, the batteries are dead. This has happened several times now. The camera is about 2 years old.
