Is anyone else not going on vacation?

i am depressed because we cant go on vacation this summer(we do have enough money to go) and when i think of that it hurts me because im watching all the other neighbors having fun and going on vacation ........is anyone else not going to go on vacation this summer?

We are not going on vacation because of the uncertainty of the economy we are saving every extra penny we get.

the closes thing to a vacation that we get is to go to the doctors for check ups seven hours away to see when our son will have his next surgery and to see if he will soon walk or talk or is there some reason that he is not doing this and while we are there we are going to try to get the kids who are 7 and 3 and a half to the beach 12 miles up the road for a evening to let them play so that's the only closes thing to a vacation that we will get so don't fell bad so have A HAPPY SUMMER  AND ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not because of the economy and sometimes when you live on social security it's more important to pay the bills and taxes then to have fun

I'm not going on vacation this summer. I know a lot of people who aren't because of starting college, the poor economy, ect. There's plenty to do though. You'd be surprized. Ask around and see if there are any unique places to eat or try a new activity that doesn't coast too much. I found some new places to eat and found that you can go tubing for $10 just up the road from my home town. It's not all bad.

I am not going on vacation and haven't been for the past 10 years because my father's job is full year and can't find anyone else to substitute for his job while he's gone, so basically I'm stuck at home.
