Is anyone else out there disappointed that the Crows lost to Freo?

Question

A lot has been said of this clash but the basic consensus (from supporters/players/coaches and media) is that at least the Crows had a try. Unfortunately I don't agree, I think the players just gave in too easily. Don't forget Freo did have 6 more scoring shots than the crows and the crows were supposed to be the better side prior to the match. When clubs accept mediocre performances then that is a worry! What do others think?

Yeah i was annoyed because i tipped Adelaide and they are generally a more polished side.  To Freos defence they have been very competitive and will beat some good sides this year, like Adelaide.  Crows will bounce back.

Yes, I am also one of a small minority of Crows supporters that were very disappointed.  I agree the Adelaide media, coach, players and supporters where just happy to put it down to pure bad luck on the day!   Well if so, how come given that the crows were considered the better side, did most tip them to lose?  The players went in with a negative mindset before the game even started! and half of them didn't even put up a good fight -just accepted their fate...not good enough Crows...do remember that Freo had lost 3 of its previous games and only just beat the bottom side Melbourne the previous week..yes definitely a mediocre performance and hopefully will change this next week.

Sorry I tipped the Crows and was very disappointed with their fumblings, they looked nervous and if Freo hadn't made as many mistakes it would have been a slaughter !!

You can make excuses about injuries etc but remember the Western roadtrip is considered the toughest in footy - then you have to deal with the Freo supporters! The bigger worry is this weekend, backing up off the Perth Trip with a 5 day break against a team that has had a 9 day break since ANZAC Day! How does Collingwood keep getting such a sweet deal?

yes i agree with you they gave up just like they did in the finals last year they were the best team in 06 and just gave up when the going got tough

h**l no. freo suk,  the western road trip is no excuse.,  teams from the west do it every weekend, so get used to it.  collingwood must be sleeping with someone...lol
