Is anyone else ready to "lose" the war in Iraq?

I have long been at the point that I think we should pull out of Iraq. What do you think, should we keep throwing American resources at the Iraqi problem, or can we step back and say, we found the evil dictator... he was executed... since then we have done more than enough to aide you in setting up a more equitable government... but we've been "running and or protecting" your country for years now and if, at this point, you cannot police your own people... it seems your people don't want our help.. so would it be okay if we to butt out of your business, and let you figure out where your country is going? You know, so we can address the problems in our own country.... like the hugely increased cost of living that was caused by the Bush Regime starting another war, after we were already at war with Al Queda and the Taliban????

  1. We've been losing the war since it began.  Since Mr. "Shrub" decided to go to Iraq and defend GHW Bush's honor instead of going after Osama Bin Ladin we've been losing this war.  This is a war in godforsakenland has been going on for 1000's of years and it's a battle that will never be won.  I say back out slowly with as many of our troops intact as possible.  We should never have gone there.  I blame Bush, 150%.  Does anyone out there know that the only planes allowed to fly on the morning of 911 were the planes that were rounding up Osama's children (in colleges all over the US) and safely returning them to THEIR homeland?  And this happnend AFTER we found out that Osama was behind the attacks.  Unbelievable.  Our troops need to come home....NOW.... - they are not over there fighting for our freedom because our freedom was never in question during this whole Iraq war.  Think about it....our men and women are over there fighting because Bush sent them there.  And Osama is in Afghanistan.  Always has been, always will be.

  2. If we pull out now, the region will become even more unstable.  h**l even Hessein Obama admits that now.

I say the safest way out is through a nuclear shield, bomb those little b******s back to the stoneage. Than after a few years of nuclear fallout, build them a mcdoanlds and sell them fords and chevys.

  3. WE didn't start the war of terrorism, the only way out is to win. Because if we quit there is no sign they will.

  4. Not until the last drop of oil has been sucked out from underneath those burning desert sands.

Nobody really cares about how the people over there live or about their political system.

One person said it is about control.

Yes to that, but it is control over oil in this case.

It is not control over poor arabs or the world's deserts.

    -----------

The Afghan Navy did not launch any assault on the great beaches of Arizona. Nor did Saddam's powerful army march across the sea.

What did happen was a person who had been supplied, trained and organized by the CIA had some of his brain dead puppets fly a few commercial jets into various solid objects.

It is important to remember this was all started by Osama Bin Laden who was our own creation, and whom we still can't catch.
