  1. channel 7 = ? NBC?

  2. They seem to be trying to make as much money from the advertising as they can before they lose the Olympics rights to Channel 9 for the next Olympics. You could liken it to ripping off the office stationary after you've given in your two weeks notice.

  3. yep definitely, also i was waiting for the basketball and they kept saying its 'coming up' and "after the break", and when they finally show it, its already nearing the end of the 3rd quarter!!! CHANNEL 7 SUCK!!

  4. Worst Olympic coverage EVER!!!

Only thing worse than the coverage is the extra C**P they are trying to pad it out with. Yum Cha is an embarressment. Get some sports journalists or sports people involved if it is supposed to be a serious sports/interview program .... and if it is supposed to be comedy stick with Roy & HG.

I miss the Roy & HG coverage and commentary.

  5. you can always watch them on youtube..

    i hate commercials too

  6. Haha, yeah. But they wouyld probably do that on channel Nine too.

And Dr. Phil says that ALL the time!! lol

  7. Sick to death of it to be honest. Even worse is "Coming up" or "Later", and then they never show it. Agree about Channel 7 cutting out during a race and then they may not even come back to the event. Very annoying.

  8. Not sure what channel 7 is, but I like to watch it live online on the website--there's no commercials (well, except a 15-30 sec ad at the beginning, but let's face it, the events are usually over an hour long) and they don't cut anything out. Includes victory ceremonies for everyone, not just the particular ones they choose to show on the limited airtime.
