  1. well i think that soulmates exist whereever you are. its doesnt ever have to be someone u love, or even fully know. but whoever it is they will understand u even if u have differences, even little things such as personal preferences, but when it comes to your soul, they are as aware of u as u are of them.

  2. I expect a lot of people are thinking the very thing you're suggesting, however to have a "soul mate" presupposes the existence of a soul.

    sorry.

  3. yeah, thought about it, discarded it, moved on.

  4. gotta be honest with you, i never really thought about it. just figured, i was perfectly content doing things my way and not worrying about what other people think.

  5. I am not sure I lived a past life, or had a soul mate in a past life.  However, I do feel like I have found a soul mate in this life I am currently living.  A soul mate does not have to be someone you have an intimate, romantic physical relationship with. In fact, most people have soul mates that they are not married to.  A soul mate is someone you connect with on a much deeper intimate soul level.  You understand each other, and love each other just for being the person they are.

I wish more people would seek out their own soul mate, rather than deciding the person they marry must be their soul mate.  It just doesn't work this way.  So many people would find joy in their life to find that soul mate, no matter what the relationship and situation they are in.

    Thanks for reading!

  6. What is a soul mate? The question indicates a lack of knowledge as to what Soul is.

For me I have been married to the same wife for 50 years and she is my best friend. We plan on continuing our relationship in the next life and through out eternity.

The idea of returning to this planet in some other body is an ancient view and one which is out dated.

An olden race was especially given to belief in transmigration and reincarnation. This idea of reincarnation originated in the observance of hereditary and trait resemblance of offspring to ancestors. The custom of naming children after grandparents and other ancestors was due to belief in reincarnation. Some later-day races believed that man died from three to seven times. This belief (residual from the teachings of Adam about the mansion worlds), and many other remnants of revealed religion, can be found among the otherwise absurd doctrines of twentieth-century fixed and backward thinkers.

  7. yup

  8. I know this is in the Philosophy section, but I felt like giving some insight from science.

In Physics, it is generally agreed that at one time or another every particle in existance was linked, due to a theory that is involved in quantum mechanics. This leads me to think that it is entirely possible that people can be linked, from means that we don't understand fully. I honestly do believe that some people are perfectly suited for one another, but they can also be happy with others, and therefore will not always find one another. Perhaps this is why some relationships aren't as happy and/or peaceful as others.

For the second question, I will take a religious point of view. Many Christians say that God doesnt appear to everyone, and cure all the worlds ailments because we have to have faith to fully understand him. We would take God for granted if he solved all of our problems, so to speak.

We would do exactly the same thing for soulmates. If we were born into the "new life" as you put it with our soulmates it would no longer be special and we would take it for granted. Thats what makes soulmates special. Finding that one person in the world that suits us, out of the 6 Billion that are currently alive is amazing.

    Hope this provides some insight.

  9. I have already met my soul mate. Definitely, there is no more chance for me to look for one. I can tell you truthfully because i married her. She is nine (9) years younger than me. And it is really hard to believe that we will met considering the gap of our age. We now have a four-year old cute daugther. With that, the soul mate will live forever with me.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

  10. if you flip a coin twice, does it land on heads the 2nd time because it landed on tails the first time?

  11. I believe in that, to a point. You truly fall in love, (as in the deep, lasting love, not the short fleeting love that most people experience) once. And if you don't find that 'soulmate' as you call it, in this life, you will not fall in love that deeply as you would if you did find them.

  12. I've found mine in this life....and I do believe we've walked this path before in previous ones. Our connection is just so strong...and our love has been from the very beginning mature and realistic and one of complete acceptance. I remember the first time we kissed. Highschool hallway, after basketball practice. It wasn't the fireworks everyone might say they have felt with kissing for the first time....it was a comfort and a thought of "oh, there you are....". It was a beautiful thing.

  13. i really do believe in soul mates i also believe that you could have more that one but the chance that you have to take is will you like the other one will he/she be better? and i also believe that the situation people tend to get in also impacts if and when you would meet your intended soul mate
