Is anyone else tired of people emailing you after you answer a question, because they didn't like your answer?

I am very strong with my beliefs, and I don't sugarcoat anything. I have gotten several hate e-mails from people on here, saying they are going to kill me, just like my brother is going to be killed fighting in the war. Has anyone else gotten similar e-mails? Maybe not for the same thing, but gotten e-mails from y!a for their controversial answers?

It is extremely rude, and we should all act like adults.

No, that is why we put the emails on so that you can discuss stuff off of here, if it is hate mail you are getting report it to yahoo and block the guys/girls doing that and keep the emails for proof later if anything goes any further than just the email. Finally, if you do not want people contacting you just don't let them on your page, you can stop it realy quick that way.

More kids on here than adults anyway, if they are threatening report them to YA and block them. You can't please all the people all the time just some of them some of the time. Good Luck

Change your profile so that people can not email you or deal with it

yes,  very sad some are so rude...but you see many of us do not allow e-mail or contacts/fans for that reason.  stay strong!!

send yahoo the mail.  they will delete their account.  no one should be threatened!

I had the same thing happen to me.  Some anti-war poster e-mailed me and told me that General Petreaus needs to be locked in a dungeon after I mentioned him answering a question in response to a Code Pink member who was verbally assaulted by the Marine boyfriend of his cousin.  I just made a polite reply and moved on.  Unfortunately, people like them don't want your honest answer, they just want answers that agree with their ideas and will cry when it isn't what they want to hear.

I also received several complements for answers, which means it isn't all bad.
