  1. I hear ya.  I have a boss who claims everything as her own, including our employees, and that any effort is hers, as well.

We're a staffing agency, so all our temps are "hers."  All the shfits booked were done by her, and if a client calls, she says SHE'LL get right on it (which means she'll get right on my ***).

I'm the staffer, and trust me, most of our temps don't even know who she is.  If they passed her on the street, they wouldn't know her from Eve.  They don't book their temp shifts with her, and the clients don't even talk to my boss as much as they talk to me.

It's only the off chance my boss answers the phone, something she doesn't like to do, either.  It might ring about 20 times before she'll even consider picking up.

It would be nice to hear her at least say "OUR temps" or "OUR shifts" or "WE will get right on that."  She doesn't have to give credit just to me.  But she could share the credit just a little.

  2. how are bosses like diapers? they are always on your a  s s  and usually full of s h i t lol

  3. The boss is the boss and you work under him.  Anything done by you is directed by the boss.  That's how a CEO can be blamed when his company passes on an item that has a flaw and hurts someone.  No one blames the engineers and quality control people (except him, LOL).

Your boss sounds like the Bad Boss of the Century.  Who takes "credit" when someone messes up?  If he doesn't blame you in front of the customer, you are very lucky.  Usually bosses who take all the credit will take none of the blame.

I guess he is just being a boss and seeing things from his own perspective.  Does he say anything nice about good work to you all even if he takes the praise from the customer.  Again, you are lucky.

If you want to get into management, you will have to remember how to behave to good employees so they don't feel the resentment you do.

  4. Do you work where I work? Where are you? I know exactly what you mean. It's worse when they are almost never here. They think they are the s...  They are above everyone else but really it's not really true.
