Question:

Is anyone else upset about the way TNT ended the race coverage?

They had at least 6 or 7 more minutes before the scheduled time for it to end...you'd think they could have done a few more interviews, showed Jr doing the hat dance a little longer, the fans' cheering, or something. Now they've just screwed themselves up by having to make up those minutes some other way and some other show is going to have to get jipped like we did.

What are your opinions?

  1. They continued the rest of their coverage on nascar.com.

  2. TNT has NEVER been known for its technical achievements.  they couldn't even manage to bleep in-car reporter kyle petty when he "dropped the f-bomb" on national tv last year - and that was while they were REPLAYING his audio.  buffoons.

they'll show all the good stuff on "victory lane" anyway.

  3. TNT is definitely the minor leagues! The race was over at 4:08 my time, so I figured we'd get to hear from quite a few drivers. NOT. We did get to see one through five, then they burned of commercial after commercial !

  4. those announcers hurt my feelings. One guy sounds like he's being choked and the other guy... TNT is kind of a drag, but it's hard to say anything bad about anyone putting on the show.

  5. I agree they just turned it off?

  6. I really do not expect too much from TNT coverage, and I am way too d**n happy to care about it.  I do like to see post-race interviews from the drivers and a couple of minutes would not have been enough time.  I'll just login  to NASCAR.com and watch Victory Lane like everyone else to get my fill.  I'm not sure I can get enough!!!  I still cannot stop smiling!!

  7. I really don't care about them showing fans cheering as they don't do that when other drivers win, and this should be treated like a normal win. I did miss the interviews with a few drivers though.
