Paypal is not a scam and is a very reliable and safe way to pay for things on the web..

PayPal is definately not a scam. It is a very secure, and easy way of paying for things and getting paid for things online. I even have a PayPal debit card which is linked to my PayPal account. Very convenient. Nothing to worry about in terms of it being a scam.

No pay/pal is a good product.  They do charge a little, but it is the best way to make sure that everyone is on the up and up and you get what you paid for in a timely mannor!  Without pay/pal the seller wouldn't ship until your check cleared, meaning it would take up to 2 weeks to get your stuff.  Postal money orders and certified bank checks cost more and still require the mail delay to the seller!

I have been on ebay since they started and have been using PayPal since they started  too.  PayPal is the fastest and one of the most secure ways to pay for auction items and the fees are small.  I have never had any problems with PayPal. When I had problems with people who bought my items on ebay and used PayPal I always got my money back!

No.  Ebay and Paypal are very reliable.  Especially paypal.  If you ever get emails from paypal that say "Dear paypal Customer.." then it is a scam.  Paypal will ALWAYS address you by your name.

Both are great places.

It's not a scam.I use it for all my ebay purchases.Never had a problem.

PayPal is definetely not a scum, trust me on that one. PayPal is brilliant aswell with purchases of e-bay because you can claim upto £500 back for problems like you not recieving an item etc.
