Is anyone familiar with the San Giuliano Park in Venice.?

I am considering attending the Heineken festival in Venice in June. I have never been to Venice so am wondering where would be best to stay where I can get easilly to the venue and also into Venice. I know the park is in Mestre but cant seem to find the ground on a map.

It's on the mainland close to the bridge to Venice. There's a map here: http://spazioinwind.libero.it/isola/carn... You can walk from the station, but it's about 4 km, but there will be a shuttle station from the Mestre station to the grounds as there was last year. Trenitalia should put on extra trains to handle the crowds at the end of the evening as they did last year. You can basically stay anywhere there's easy access to the Mestre station - such as anywhere in Venice.
