Is anyone getting reported for no reason on Politics YA?

Question

Deleted questions and deleted questions at YA for no reason, except some Obama supporter again reported me for no reason except that I don't favor Obama, so is anyone getting deleted for no reason. I appealed and will continue to appeal until my voice is heard that I am doing nothing wrong. I'm quite weary of it. So is anyone getting slammed for no reason?

yea absolutely I agree, y answers is definitely not allowing us to have a reasonable amount of freedom of speech, i know they are a business but there has to be reasonable constraints.

I posed the questions "Is this the end of MCCAIN?" and they deleted it after two days saying its not a question- can anyone tell me how thats not an answer, i put additonal details stating picking palin was the reason why i said that.

yahoo is going down, microsoft or google will take them over soon, and we will have better freedom of speech on this site

by the way there is guy on y answers whose screen name is phuckucons- well i reported him because its obviously a curse word and they didnt do anything about it, the guy still posts here regularly

No, whenever I report someone I always have a good reason.

Y!As reporting system is a problem.  I've seen people post offensive things about both candidates and not have their question deleted.

My friend has had that happen.

You have to be very careful to actually answer the literal question, even if the body of the statment is focusing on something else.

For instance, if  the details of your question was "This is censorship!  Isn't this proof that Yahoo is liberal?  Liberals are scared to let both sides out?  Don't they trust peopel to read & come to their own conclusions?"

I might be tempted to comment on the body of your text, saying that it isn't Yahoo, but liberals who are always reporting for no reason.  Or explain that this is not a publicly owned site, that Yahoo had a right to take down what they want, even if they are beign biased.

But if I fail to answer the actual question "Is anyone getting reported for no reason on Politics YA?" then people who hate what I have said will have an excuse to report me.

As far as questions, remember to not only put it in question form, but to make sure it is a real answerable question.  And if you answer your own question , especially if you have a long paragraph, it might be called a rant.

Yes it goes both ways and is wrong and YA shold really look at what is being deleted, and the contents of answers, sometimes it is just someone does not agree or want info getting out there and they should be in violation and reported back to YA for wronglful violations.  I have had mine off too and it was wrong, too bad some people are not tolerant and I have had people cuss  me out and did not report them, it just shows how low people can be and gets good visibililty to othrs for their lame answers by doing so
