  4. hi i was born an bred in barbados live here all my life

  5. I have lived in Barbados temporarily but I still come back. There's something about that island, maybe it's more than one thing that has me keep coming back. ;)

Barbados has great nightlife, either in St. Lawrence Gap (various clubs, hotels, restaurants/bars), Club Xtreme and Harbour Lights, especially The Boatyard.

The culture is also different, English with Bajan dialect -- learning the words in Bajan talk is very interesting like "i gine and sleep" means "i am going to sleep" something like that.

The food are different to tastes, some of them at least. There are delicious dishes to try in case someone has not tried, for a different flavour, and such, or if you want a different flavour that's not at home, then you can even eat it there!

Chefette's is one of the fast food restaurants that I don't really see elsewhere!

There are a lot to do, a lot to see such as activities (water ones i.e surfing, jetskiing, scuba diving), sightseeings (i.e. The Barbados Museum, Atlantis Adventures (Submarine), East Coast - Bathsheba), fine dining, duty-fee shopping in its capital, Bridgetown, especially Cave Shepherd outside the capital.

As for jobs, tourism is popular, one of the main.

Stores are closed on Sundays, there's like nothing open when walking in town!

Route taxis, mini buses and big (blue) transport buses costs 1.50 BDS each way!

Events held on this beautiful island are Fun Walk (like November), Crop Over (summer), and such, depending on what they have in their planning. But I do know Crop Over and Fun Walk are every year. Crop Over ends on Kadooment Day which is in early August.

Barbados is the place to never miss!
