  1. No thanks.  I don't want to be any kind of grate.  I'm just ok being me.  I have cat ears, you know.  What could be cooler than that?

  2. This is the only place in the world where "grateful" is a bad word.  So, what's so bad about being grateful?  There's always something to be grateful for.    This "I didn't ask to be born!"  attitude sounds so, well, spoiled.

Happy?  Not always.  But I have a lot of fun most of the time.

So, ya, count me in I guess I am a hapgrate!

  3. hahaha.....shaved head....how about a mohawk?

    Laurie  ROTFLMAO

I am not adopted but I was born out wedlock....can I be a snarky b*****d too? I like that... I think I will tell my parents I am the snarky b*****d formerly known as the know-it-all daughter.

  4. No, i don't want to be any grate, i just want to be me!!

eta- besides if you are a Hapgrate that means you insult other adoptees who want open records, search for their b-families and are in reunion . Why would you want that?

  5. Hey there, watch the diet comments.  I'm not going to get on you about being bald or needing a haircut.

Personally, I don't want to be a hapgrate.  I don't see why I need to be grateful or happy for having my basic needs met as a child.  I'm happy and grateful for the things I've worked for.  But that's just me.

  6. I can't believe you all have cop hats, am. so. jealous

  7. Happy and grateful about it?  No -- not about something that guaranteed I'd be denied equal treatment under the law.

I'm happy about most things in my life, but no, not that.

    ETA:

Angelcuddle, most certainly you can be a snarky b*****d, too!  Surprisingly, even in this modern day, I find that people can be mean to b******s simply because they're...well...b******s.  Therefore, it's good to be a tad snarky if you're a b*****d.

Oddly enough, I'm not technically a b*****d, as my parents were married when they had me.  But, I'm an unofficial b*****d as an adoptee.

  8. I'm a happy fat grate!  :)  mmmmwah  love ya all  kisses all around :)   now pass me some of that fried chicken

  9. no, i'd rather live in the real world.

  10. definitely not happy or grateful for being adopted in this corner.
