I would need to be given instructions of how to clean ect, I love being around horses so I thought working at a stable would be a good summer job to get me out of the house. I am 14 and I can work at a stable in the northeast ohio area, probably around Madison, Mentor, Perry, or Painesville.

  1. Thanks for your answer it helped loads. For you I know some peole on McMackin That have those horses in that big clearing with the power lines. Her name is Amy and she is the one who might give me lessons in trade for work so I suggest talking to her.

  2. try help wanted in craigslist

  3. Try this link to places to board horses in Ohio: http://www.polocenter.com/stable/stableu... . Also, I just googled "stable Ohio" and got a bunch of responses, but I don't know Ohio, so I don't know what's near you. The other thing might simply be to try your phone book, under "stables." However, I have gotten the impression that a lot of times people work in exchange for riding classes/time with a horse (esp if they want to compete and don't own a horse), not necessarily for money. That could just be the stables I've been to, though.
