If so, can you tell me what the environment is like? I am planning on moving to Florida next year and am looking for places near Holiday, where my brother currently lives. I looked up San Antonio and St. Leo and found their histories to be interesting. Is this a great small town to live in? Also, are there alligators? I am looking for a small town, less than 5,000 people and an area of no more than 20 square miles.

  1. I've visited both SA and SL. Lots of Florida history around there. And yeah, way under 5000 people. Overall, the residents have a very "southern country" attitude, with a good shot of pride in them. It's not real high on the income list, but it's not poor either. The countryside is beautiful with gentle rolling hills, valleys, and lots of green. I wouldn't put much thought into gators...pretty rare around there. It gets really hot and wet in the summer, then quite mild and nice in the winter.

I would move to that area in a heartbeat if I could find work.
