  1. The electors are decided upon after the next general election of December 4, 2008. They will then be issued certificates of ascertainment by their respective Governors and meet to cast their ballots on December 14, 2009.

With respect to electors voting for Senator McCain, two things have to be kept in mind. First, is that 26 of the 50 States do not have laws which require their electors to vote the way the people did in those states. Secondly, retired military officers who might be tempted to cast an electoral vote for John McCain are barred from serving as electors by Title 3 of United States Code because they are considered to still hold Federal commissions.

  2. that's the biggest sham....people are so mistaken to think that we are a democracy when truly we are a republic it doesn't matter what we vote they can chose whoever they want ...i.e. 2000 election.  So I guess if the electoral college decides McCain will be in office i guess he will...

  3. I'll vote for him while i buttsex him

  4. Jackie cHAN Is part of the electoral college and will gladly cast your vote for you if you let him karate chop you in the ***

  5. Nobody's on the Electoral College until the electors are elected. That'll happen on November 4, 2008.
