Olympic Gold (ARG) and Copa Sudamericana (Boca)?

Congrats to him. Is there anyone else on these two teams? Stefy you probably know.

Well Thanks to Palacios scoring the first goal, them if it wasn't for Riquelme's amazing 90+ goal they might not have won it :DD

And Palermo, even thought he might not always have the best personality or is as good as many players he scores. I like Dátolo he's doing pretty good :D

Wow Marky I'm sorry but that was kind of stupid.  Great players don't have to play in Europe.  Riquelme is the master in the Argentina squad, its not that he couldn't make it in Europe, its that he wasn't given a chance.

Copa Sudamericana??

Riquelme just won the Recopa with Boca Juniors.

He never won the Copa Sudamericana actually, Boca won it in 2004 and 2005 (Riquelme was with Villarreal at the time)

If Boca Juniors have not had sold Monzon, a player on the olympic squad, in this summer transfer window to Real Betis, he would have been another player on both teams....but Riquelme is the only one.

Other Former players include Gago, Banega and Levezzi (from the Academy only)

I agree with Stefy that Jesus Datalo has really emerged for Boca recently and wouldn't surprise me if he leaves for Europe some time in the near future.

I player to look out for is Ricardo Noir, a 21 year old striker who came up from the Academy not long ago. With Palermo out injured for 3-4 months, it may be his time to shine.
