Is anyone really starting to save and stock up for a recession? How are you doing it and is it going to help?

Just sort of an off-the-wall question, but just curious. Other than cutting back on saving gas are any of you stocking up on groceries, etc.? That is all you hear about lately so I was just curious. Also, has anyone lived through a recession?

No I haven't lived through a depression but stocking up on groceries isn't a bad idea. I never thought about it this way before. Well now that you mention it, I'll start right now. I do have a zero credit card balance.
